   Hanoi Backstreets by Vintage Motorcycle – The Real Hanoi

   The adventure begins in the morning aboard a legendary Vintage Minsk Motorcycle — one of the most iconic ways to experience Hanoi like a local. Ride deep into Hanoi’s hidden backstreets, narrow zigzagging alleyways, lively residential neighborhoods, and bustling local markets rarely visited by ordinary tourists. This is the side of Hanoi that most visitors never truly see.

   Along the journey, guests will witness authentic daily life unfolding around them: locals preparing street food, families gathering in tiny alleyways, students rushing to school, market vendors selling fresh produce, and elderly residents enjoying traditional tea and conversation.

   Travel through hidden corners where old Hanoi still survives beneath the city’s modern energy. The Vintage Minsk Motorcycle allows guests to fully experience the sounds, smells, movement, and atmosphere of Hanoi from street level in a raw and immersive way.

   A special stop is included at the famous Train Street café area , where guests can relax with traditional Vietnamese coffee while observing local life beside the active railway tracks — one of Hanoi’s most unique urban experiences (subject to local access regulations).

   Hanoi Highlights, French Quarter & Local Cuisine

   Continue the city exploration through Hanoi’s elegant French Quarter and historical landmarks where colonial architecture and Vietnamese culture blend together.

   Guests will learn about Hanoi’s fascinating transformation through royal history, French colonial influence, wartime resilience, and modern development while experiencing the unique contrasts between the Old Quarter and the French Quarter .

   Around midday, stop at a carefully selected local restaurant to enjoy authentic Hanoi cuisine featuring traditional dishes and flavors loved by local people. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

   Ride past tree-lined boulevards, embassy areas, colonial villas, lakeside roads, and iconic city highlights including:

   Countryside Adventure by Russian Jeep – Red River & Bat Trang Ceramic Village

   After lunch, the experience changes completely as guests switch transportation from Vintage Minsk Motorcycle to a legendary open-air Russian Jeep for the countryside portion of the journey.

   Leaving behind the busy city center, cruise along the scenic Red River dike roads surrounded by guava orchards, banana plantations, vegetable farms, flower gardens, and peaceful riverside villages.

   This part of the tour reveals a completely different side of Hanoi — quiet, rural, and deeply connected to traditional Vietnamese life. Along the route, guests will witness the striking contrast between modern skyscrapers in the distance and the timeless agricultural lifestyle that still exists beside the Red River.

   Arrive at Bat Trang Ceramic Village — a traditional pottery village with a history dating back more than 700 years and considered one of Vietnam’s most important craft villages.

   Walk through ancient alleyways lined with old brick houses, ceramic workshops, family-run stores, and traditional kilns while learning about Bat Trang’s rich ceramic heritage and local culture.

   The experience concludes with a hands-on pottery workshop where guests can try shaping clay on a traditional pottery wheel and create their own small ceramic piece to bring home as a meaningful souvenir from Hanoi.
