   Red River Countryside Drive & Riverside Villages

   After a short safety briefing and tour introduction, begin the adventure aboard a legendary open-air Russian Jeep as we leave behind the busy streets of Hanoi and head toward the peaceful countryside of the Red River Delta.

   Instead of crossing Long Bien Bridge , the journey starts via Chuong Duong Bridge where guests can enjoy panoramic views over the Red River together with the full iconic skyline of Long Bien Bridge stretching across the river — one of Hanoi’s most historic and photogenic landmarks.

   From there, continue driving along the scenic Red River dike roads, surrounded by banana plantations, vegetable gardens, guava orchards, flower farms, and quiet riverside communities rarely visited by tourists. The open-air Jeep allows guests to fully experience the fresh countryside breeze, peaceful atmosphere, and authentic rural scenery while observing local life unfolding naturally along the riverbanks. Along the route, guests may see farmers working in the fields, fishing boats drifting on the river, locals gathering at roadside tea stalls, and traditional village life continuing at a slower rhythm.

   This part of the journey offers a beautiful contrast between Hanoi’s modern skyline and the timeless agricultural lifestyle that still exists quietly beside the Red River today.

   Co Loa Ancient Citadel – Legend & History

   Continue to Co Loa Ancient Citadel , one of Vietnam’s most important historical sites and believed to be the country’s oldest citadel. Dating back to the 3rd century BC, Co Loa was once the capital of the ancient Au Lac Kingdom and remains deeply connected to Vietnamese legends, military history, and national identity.

   Guests will explore the ancient citadel area, learn about its spiral-shaped defensive structure, and hear fascinating stories about King An Duong Vuong, Princess My Chau, and the legendary magic crossbow that still lives on in Vietnamese folklore today.

   This cultural and historical stop offers a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s early civilization and the roots of the Red River Delta culture.

   Traditional Village Homes, Bonsai Garden & Hanoi Cuisine

   After visiting Co Loa Ancient Citadel , continue deeper into the surrounding countryside villages to experience the peaceful rhythm of traditional Northern Vietnamese life.

   Guests will visit a local family home and discover a beautifully preserved ancient-style house that still reflects the traditional architecture and atmosphere of Northern Vietnam. With its old wooden structure, tiled roof, quiet courtyard, and nostalgic design, the house offers a rare glimpse into how generations of local families once lived in the Red River Delta.

   The journey continues to a traditional bonsai garden where guests can admire carefully shaped trees and learn about the Vietnamese appreciation for balance, patience, harmony, and natural beauty — values deeply connected to local culture and daily life.

   Along the way, guests may also stop at local village markets and peaceful countryside corners to observe authentic rural life away from the busy city atmosphere.
